Feature Description
OneDrive Integration

Users can now navigate to their OneDrive/SharePoint folders when adding files to attach in their project documents.

With this integration, the Attachments section in Onware has been redesigned, allowing users to attach files from the following locations:

  • Local computer folders

  • Onware files (Project Files)

  • OneDrive/SharePoint folders

In addition, this new design also allows multiple deletion of files.

Email Subscription: Change Order

Change Order Email subscription(s) can now be set up per Contract Type. 

Things to remember:

  • Change Order Subscriptions that were added prior to 9.45.0 will be displayed without “Contract Type” in the “Existing Email Subscriptions” list.

  • For each individual email, any existing Change Order Email subscription must be manually removed first from the list prior to adding a Contract-specific Change Order Email subscription.

  • When Email subscription is added AND Contract Type “All” was selected, the Email subscription will be added in the “Existing Email Subscriptions" list without a Contract Type.

  • When Email subscription is added AND specific Contract Type was selected, for example (Allowance), the subscription is added with the specific Contract in the Existing Email Subscriptions list.

Minor Performance Enhancement Performance of Copy Project feature has been improved.
Onware Sync: Submittal Number Formats

When the first 2 digits of the Submittal’s Spec Section is neither available nor digits, Onware Sync will still transfer the Submittal into Onware without a Division Number.

Quotation Contract Administrators can now edit/update the Quotation's title, as required, while Quotation is being reviewed. Previously, Quotation's title can only be edited/updated before it is issued.
Setting: Weekday Response Time We have added a new setting called Weekday Response Time, which allows Project Administrators to set whether the Response Time will only include weekdays when calculated.

Setting: Cut off time (for Submittals)

Project Administrators can now set a cut off time for Submittals which determines the start date when calculating the Submittal's aging. When cut off time is set and the Submittal is issued after the cut off time, the Submittal's aging wil start on the next calendar day.
Setting: Document Number Padding The setting has been updated so that when value is set as the site's default, the value will only apply to new projects without affecting current or existing projects. The site's default value will only be copied to new projects.
User Access Group: Contract Administrator

Contract Administrators now have to access the Email Audit page to allow them to manage and review Emails sent to their project participants when they are identified as the Project Manager/Contract Administrator in Project details page without giving them the Project Administrator access.

User Access Group: General Contractor Any Unsolicited Change Requests (UCR) and Quotations that have been issued, or recommendations have been requested and still being reviewed will not be viewable to General Contractors.
User Directory We have added the "Click to Fetch" button in the User's profile page, allowing Project Administrators to get the last login information, only as needed.

Unable to save Meeting items

Issue
  • Users cannot see the options to "Save" or "Update" when editing meeting items.

Resolution

  • The software has been fixed to address this issue.

Cause

  • Buttons are pushed out of the screen or drop downs expand over other columns when the widths are adjusted.

Consultants still have action item on re-issued Site Visit.

Issue
  • Consultant's action item on returned Site Visits are not cleared when Site Visit is re-issued.

Resolution

  • Fixed to mark action items on returned Site Visit as "Done" when re-issued.

Cause

  • Action Item on Returned Site Visit is not marked "Done" when Site Visit is re-issued.

Change populates several times in Change Standard Report.

Issue
  • When generating a Change Standard Report, the Change is duplicated based on how the number of associated Consultant Recommendations in the change.

Resolution

  • The report has been fixed to address this issue.

Cause

  • This defect was introduced when Consultant Recommendation was added in the Change Search page as part of version 9.42.0.

Contract Administrator cannot view cancelled documents.

Issue
  • Contract Administrators cannot view cancelled Supplemental Instructions (SI) and Clarification Requests initiated by other users in the project. They can only view cancelled Supplemental Instruction and Clarification Requests that they have initiated.

Resolution

  • Contract Administrator's access has been updated. Contract Administrators can now view cancelled documents, except when restriction is set in the document where it limits access to selected users/groups preventing others from viewing the document.

Cause

  • Contract Administrators only have view access on cancelled Supplemental Instructions (SI) and Clarification Requests that they initiated.

Request for Information (RFI) Response Time calculation is incorrect when Request for Information (RFI) is submitted on behalf of the Contractor.

Issue
  • When Request for Information (RFI) is submitted on behalf of the Contractor and Contract Administrator selects a previous date, Request for Information (RFI) Response Time is not calculated properly.

Resolution

  • The Received On date is now calculated based on the Submitted On date instead of Issued On date.

Cause

  • When Request for Information (RFI) is submitted on behalf of the Contractor, where Submitted On date is back-dated, the Received On date is calculated based on Issued On date instead of Submitted On date.

Duplicate Action Items on Request for Information (RFI)

Issue
  • When the project is set to allow the selection of multiple Disciplines and to always request a response from multiple Disciplines as defined in "Required Discipline" setting, duplicate action items are sent to Consultants who are identified in Request for Information's (RFI) "Discipline Directed To" and the "Required Discipline" setting.

Resolution

  • The software has been fixed to address this issue.

Cause

  • Disciplines existing both in the setting and on the RFI were sometimes processed twice.

Unsolicited Change Request (UCR) Number uses 6-digit number padding format.

Issue
  • Unsolicited Change Request's (UCR) Numbering does not auto-generate the next number in sequence based on Document Number Padding setting value in the project.

Resolution

  • The software has been fixed to address this issue.

Cause

  • Unsolicited Change Request's (UCR) numbering is generated based on last number used in the project.

Change Directive link does not show in Consultant Recommendation PDF

Issue
  • If Consultant Recommendation is issued on a Change Directive, Change Directive link does not show in the Consultant Recommendation's "Attachments" section when PDF is generated.

Resolution

  • The missing code to display the Consultant Recommendation in Change Directive's (CD) Edit page and PDF's attachments section has been added to fix the issue.

Cause

  • Missing code to implement the display of Consultant Recommendation in Change Directive's (CD) Edit page and PDF's Attachments section.

Exception error generates when user clicks on the scroll to Consultant Recommendation option in Change Directive's (CD) page and Automate Pricing setting is enabled.

Issue
  • If Change Directive's (CD) Automate Pricing setting is enabled and user clicks on the scroll to Consultant Recommendation option, an exception error is generated.

Resolution

  • The software has been fixed to show the Consultant Recommendation in Change Directive (CD) page's "Scroll To" list based on workflow used.

Cause

  • When Change Directive's (CD) Automate Pricing setting is enabled, Change Directive page does not have a Consultant Recommendation section. However, Consultant Recommendation is still listed in the "Scroll to" and generates an exception when user clicks on it.

Notes field displays multiple times when Meeting is saved.

Issue
  • When Meeting is saved, the Rich Text Editor field is displayed multiple times on the page.

Resolution

  • The software has been fixed to address this issue.

Cause

  • Rich Text Editor loads multiple times while view is loaded and refreshed.
