Submittal Settings
List of available settings for Submittals and Submittal Envelopes.
Note: Only Project Administrator or Software Administrators can configure the settings.
From the Administration menu, select Settings. The Settings page displays.
Tip: You can also access Settings from the Collapsed Menu.
Global Setting:
Setting Name | Description |
---|---|
Stamp | Stamps are configured per Company. A user must be associated with a Company in Onware to use the stamp feature. |

Default Consultant Required by Duration | Defines the Submittal's default Return From Consultant Required date duration in Days. |
Disclaimer for Submittal Envelopes | The disclaimer displayed on the printed form of all previous and newly created Submittal Histories. |
Disclaimer for Submittals | The disclaimer displayed on the printed form of all previous and newly created Submittals. |
Divisions | List of options displaying in the Division drop down field when creating or editing a Submittals. |
Numbering Style |
Defines the numbering convention for Submittals. Options are:
Submittal numbering will display in the format: Division.Number.Revision. |
Priority list | List of options displaying in the Submittal Priority drop down field. |
Types | List of options displaying in the Submittal Type drop down field. |
Action Taken | List of options displaying in the SubmittalEnvelope's Action Taken drop down field |
Require FM Information Checklist to Issue | When this setting is enabled, the FM Information Checklist checkbox selection will display within a SubmittalEnvelope and is a mandatory field |
Require FM Information Checklist to Issue | When this setting is turned on, the FM Infomration Checklist reminder will appear on the SubmittalEnvelop edit screen. This setting will also require the FM Information Checklist to be checked before a SubmittalEnvelop can be issued. |
