Action Items

An Action Item is a notification sent to a specified role to signal that a specific task requires attention. Depending on your role, different action items will be displayed. If there are multiple users in the same role, the action item will appear in everyone's Action Item List.

For Example: If a Change requires pricing, and there are three general Contractor Project Managers on the project, all three General Contractor Project Manager will receive the same action item. Once the action on the document has been completed by one user, the Action Item will be marked Done and removed from all three General Contractor Project Managers' Action Items list.

 

Color Description
Blue (with an asterisk) New action item. Action item has not been viewed.
White Action item has been viewed but not completed.
Red Overdue action item based on Required By date

 

Action items are organized by:

  1. Project
  2. Document type
  3. Most recent

Note: Only action items associated with projects you’re involved with are shown.
