Issue a Change Directive

Change Directives are issued to provide instructions to proceed with a change. Only Contract Administrators can issue a Change Directive.

To issue a Change Directive:

  1. On the Home page, Select a Project on which to issue a new Change Directive.

The Project details display on the Home page.

  1. From the Construction menu, select Change Directive.

The Change Directive Search page displays.

  1. Click .

The Change Directive Edit page displays.

  1. Complete the necessary fields:

Quotation(s)

If the Price is required

Note: The Quotation(s) section will remain empty until Quotations have been issued by the General Contractor Project Manager for this Change Directive’s scope of work.

If the Price is optional

Note: The Quotation(s) section will only display on Change Directives that have been acknowledged. For more information, see Acknowledge a Change Directive

  1. Complete any additional fields:

To action the Change Directive, select one of the action buttons from the top toolbar:

A confirmation page affirming all required information is completed and the document has successfully transitioned to the identified status.
